The toolkit comprises a booklet and series of spreadsheets that allow growers to schedule their irrigation more effectively.  It is aimed at growers who know a little already about best practice, but it enables them to plan things more precisely, and understand the benefits of effective and controlled irrigation.  It takes into account what crop is being grown, and where in the country it is being grown.  It has been developed by a team led by John King at ADAS.
